What We Believe

There is a power for good in the Universe and we can use it because we are it. We believe that to the degree we are able to change our core beliefs — thereby changing our thoughts — we are able to change our lives.

There is One Power, the power of Love, which we call God. It is found within all people everywhere and is the substance of all things past, present, and to come.

There is a law that responds to our thinking in direct proportion to our belief. This is the Law of Cause and Effect.

How We Use It

Our main teaching comes from Dr. Ernest Holmes, author of “The Science of Mind.” He said, “The Science of Mind does not necessarily create a new religion or sect, for it may be added to any spiritual system of thought since it is a complement to all.”

In a world where all people celebrate Oneness, it is not necessary for everyone to agree to the same ideology or philosophy, or even religion, for that matter.  Rather, we celebrate diversity and the many walks of life that all lead to the same place, a peaceful coexistence where sincere respect and unconditional love are the tenets of life.

What It Does

When we live our lives from a place of “Love Only, Forgive Everything, Remember Who You Are,” we become an energetic match to everything we want that already exists in the quantum field.

At Global Truth Center, our goal is to create a safe and sacred place where an individual can discover his or her own spiritual path and personal purpose in life.

A WELCOME MESSAGE FROM DR. JAMES MELLON

Hi, welcome to the Global Truth Center, inclusive spiritual community where all are welcome. I'm Dr. James Mellon. And I want to thank you for taking the time today to check us out.

So first, let's start with the idea of a spiritual community. What does that mean? Well, for me, it means that you come to a place where you are surrounded by like minded people who love you, support you and encourage you to become the highest version of yourself.

You know, in my lifetime, I have been involved in many religions, philosophies, spiritual paths. I grew up Catholic. I then became a Buddhist. I studied the Bhagavad Gita and the Bahai faith. I studied A Course in Miracles. And I went to Eric Butterworth's Unity Church in New York City.

And then I finally landed in Los Angeles, at The Science of Mind, Ernest Holmes' philosophy of life. And here's what really got me. Ernest Holmes taught that all religions have something in common, and that that commonality is really what makes us one.

In fact, he said this, "The Science of Mind does not aim at becoming a new religion. It, in fact, is common to all religions, and is a compliment to all." So here at Global Truth Center, we celebrate all religious paths that celebrate love. In fact, our vision statement is Love Only, Forgive Everything, and Remember Who You Are.

And our emphasis is on remembering who we are. The great poet Rumi, he wrote, "You are not a drop in the ocean. You are the entire ocean in a drop. There is a place in you and a place in me that when you are in your place, and I am in my place, we are in one place."

I want to thank you for taking time today and celebrating yourself here with me. Have a great day. Namaste.

Dr. James Mellon
